What’s New?

Hi!! It has been a while since I uploaded anything. I have been extremely busy at university and I have also been writing loads of music. Late last year I released a new EP of punk songs called ‘Promises‘ which has had a lot of great responses. The point of the EP was a test to see what people thought of me singing…and it seems to have gone well. So I am now writing an album (alongside all my uni work). I have recorded about six demos and I have released one which is called ‘I Wanna Get Drunk‘. I want to re record the songs and I have been in contact with a guy who owns a studio near St Ives in Cambridgeshire and he said he would love to record me. I have heard some of his recordings and they sound very professional, so I am very excited for that.

I had a bad few months at the end of last year after stress of going separate ways with my ex and moving house as well as family issues (which are still continuing), but things are really looking positive now. I have met a girl called Holly who is absolutely lovely and she has made me very happy. She is an artist and has said she would love to draw pictures for my cover art for the album which is AWESOME! As soon as University is over, I am going to be concentrating on finishing my album, getting a band together, gigging everywhere and anywhere, and making this dream of mine come true. Im Back!

Hello! It has been a while since I put anything on here. I have been very busy doing lots and lots of different things. Obviously my new album ‘Serenity’ is now out and you can buy it HERE! If you want an actual copy with the artwork go and like my Facebook Page and give me a message 🙂

I have now started my second year at university, so there a lot of work to do. I went into the recording studio yesterday and recorded a track that I am using for my studio project. It was a lot of fun, but it got SO hot in there! To be honest though, the weather is really warm in England. Even the air is warm. I can’t wait for the really cold weather, I love wearing coats…you know how a lot of women always buy shoes or bags? Well that is me…but with coats. But I can’t wear them! I actually wore shorts the other day because of the silly weather. Some people will probably think i’m weird for not enjoying the heat…I don’t mind it, just not at this time of the year!

My band seem to be doing well. We have been writing lots of material and we are recording a track on the 4th of November. Hopefully we will have a Facebook page up soon for you to have a look and a listen 🙂 I also went to a big meet up with a load of film/TV students that will be needing music in their projects. I got a lot of contacts which was good, and there is a girl that I am meeting next week at some point who may be able to give me a very exciting opportunity….but I’m not saying anything yet 😉

Serenity – Official Trailer and Review!

Hello!!! Got a load of great news. Firstly the music and artwork for the album is now in the process of being put together to form my new album Serenity! I have also got an Official Trailer which includes the release date, album name and cover. The trailer shows things that I have been a part of that have inspired me. And some things that have got me where I am today. Not all of them…but some. A good friend of mine, James, from Red Tusk Productions, has kindly written me a fantastic review of the album which I think is definitely worth the read. (You can read it here – Serenity – Review)

The end is in sight!

I now have just ONE track left to do until all the music is finished for the album. Finally!! There is so much more left to do, but once the music is finished I will feel much more chilled out about it all. I cannot wait for you to hear it! There is so many different bits to it, and a LOT involved. I don’t want to tell you everything that I have planned, but I want the whole CD to be a journey for you as a listener, and I want you to feel like you can experience it all with me. This album is definitely a big step forward for me. To all the people that care for me and my music, YOU are part of my journey, YOU are experiencing everything beside me, and YOU are the ones that will make all this worth while. I can’t thank you enough. It may not be many people yet, but I will do anything and everything to get where I want to be. I have a problem!!

Hello everyone! So I managed to finish that track I was saying about the other day…however…I now have a massive mental block that is completely stopping me from doing anything creative. It is possibly one of the most frustrating feelings in the world for anyone that does anything creative, and I have no idea how to get out of it. Its happened to me before, but it really isn’t a good time as I have a nice amount of time off of uni to work on Album No.2!! People say to listen to other music, which for me doesn’t really work for me. I go out on walks, I listen to music, I play games, but nothing helps! DO YOU KNOW WHAT I CAN DO?? If you do please leave a comment!

In other news, I didn’t get into trouble at work 🙂 Ive actually got loads of extra hours this week which is nice, so I can save loads of money to go on holiday with! Me and Amy (my girlfriend) have looked, and some holidays are ridiculously cheap for a week, all inclusive, so we will definitely get one of those when she finished for the summer! We aren’t really bothered where we go, as long as it is near a beach, and has lots of cool exciting places to explore! Im not really the type to sit by a pool the whole holiday. I like to go on an adventure ands explore the place I’m staying in. Unfortunately it will be in august, so there will more than likely be shit loads of people with about 5 screaming kids each…but a holiday is a holiday and I can’t wait! 😀
